Reverse Mortgage Ad Campaign Video Instructions

Follow these steps to create a professional and engaging video ad and video sales letter (VSL):

Step 1: Understand the Scripts
Review the scripts provided by X Squared Systems carefully. These scripts are designed to communicate the loan officer's value proposition, services, and benefits clearly and succinctly. Familiarize yourself with the key points and messaging to ensure accurate representation.

Step 2: Plan Your Shots
Plan your shots to align with the script. Think visually about how to illustrate the loan officer's services. Shots can include the loan officer at their desk, interacting with clients, discussing loan terms, and showcasing any relevant documents.

Step 3: Set Up Lighting and Audio
Good lighting and clear audio are crucial for a professional look and feel. Use natural light whenever possible and consider using external lighting sources to eliminate shadows. For audio, use an external microphone to capture clear sound.

Step 4: Add B-Roll Footage
B-roll footage includes additional shots that enhance the main narrative. Capture shots of the loan officer's office, happy clients, financial documents, or related imagery that supports the message.

Step 5: Edit Thoughtfully
In the editing phase, pay attention to pacing and flow. Keep the video concise and engaging, focusing on the most impactful moments. Incorporate the main footage, B-roll, and any necessary text or graphics. Use transitions to smoothen cuts and maintain a professional look.

Step 6: Add Background Music
Consider adding background music to enhance the emotional impact of the video. Choose music that complements the tone and message of the ad without overpowering the narration.

Step 7: Review and Refine
Watch the video multiple times to ensure it aligns with the script, looks visually appealing, and effectively conveys the loan officer's message. Make necessary edits to achieve a polished final product.

Step 8: Export and Share
Once you're satisfied with the video, export it in .mp4 format, and upload it to X Squared.
Rename the file in the following format: Video Ad / VSL - Client Name (ex. Video Ad - John Smith, or VSL - John Smith)
